Jim O'Donnell is our primary Captain and will be at your service unless otherwise specified. He is a Master Captain licensed by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in sailing and motor-powered vessels.
Jim loves teaching and sharing the art and science of sailing. He welcomes all sailors and guests onto his yacht.
Jim is a father to four adult children who also love Lake Erie as much as he does.
When he isn't out on the water, he manages JEO Consulting as a licensed electrician servicing homeowners and commercial businesses in Geauga County.
The Yacht: The Ellie of Mayo
Our vessel is a Catalina 36 foot, sloop-rigged sailing yacht. It comes complete with cooking and cooling facilities in the galley, personal floatation devices, a private toilet, below deck round table seating, and an inboard engine
